Tribe Fall Skills Clinics:
Algonkian Lacrosse Club will once again hold weekly skills development clinics for boys and girls in Fall 2022. These are a great opportunity for players to learn new skills and build upon foundational skills developed in prior seasons!
What: Skills clinics that introduce core lacrosse skills and reinforce good fundamentals in returning players. Players will be divided into groups based on age/experience/skill to ensure targeted skill development.
Who: All interested players, boys and girls, grades K-9 (all levels of experience are welcome!)
Where: Seneca Ridge Middle School (Lower Field)
When:
- Girls: Likely Saturday mornings
- Boys: Likely Sunday mid-day
Coaching: Tribe coaches and local high school players will lead the weekly station-based clinics. Depending on turnout and ability, clinics may include some specialty skills such as face-offs/draws, shooting, and goalkeeping. Clinics may also use a combination of drills, scrimmages, and free play to promote skill development in a low-pressure, active, and fun environment.
