The Algonkian Lacrosse Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, based out of Loudoun County, VA, run by Volunteers to provide the children of the Dominion, Park View and Potomac Falls HS clusters the opportunity to learn and play lacrosse.

Spring 2021 Algonkian Lacrosse Club Covid Guidelines (April 1, 2021)
ALC is following guidance from CDC, Virginia State Officials, and Loudoun County to ensure the
safety of all participants. Please follow all guidelines outlined below. Thank you for your
cooperation and support in making this a safe and successful season for everyone.


General Guidelines:
Stay home...

  • If you or anyone you are in close contact with has been diagnosed with or tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 14 days
  • If you or anyone in you are in close contact with is actively being monitored for Covid-19
  • If you are experiencing any Covid-19 related symptoms including, fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea If you learn of a potential exposure, or test positive after you have been in contact with other players, coaches, officials, or spectators we ask that you immediately inform your ALC coach so that we can notify individuals of the exposure. Your health information and identity will be kept confidential.

 

GUIDELINES FOR PLAYERS:

  1. Stay home if you are sick!
  2. Mask Requirements: (masks must cover nose and mouth)
  • Required: when entering/exiting fields and on sidelines
  • Optional: During gameplay masks are strongly encouraged but not required.
  1. Player equipment will be placed socially distanced on designated sidelines.
  2. Players are welcome to bring hand sanitizer to use when/if needed.
  3. In order to maintain social distancing there will be no high fives, hugs, fist bumps, etc.

 

GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS/SPECTATORS:

  1. Stay home if you are sick!
  2. Mask Requirements: Masks must cover nose and mouth, and are required for all spectators.
  3. Families should limit gameday attendance and maintain 10 ft of social distance with non-family members.
  4. Attendance may not exceed 250 spectators
  5. Dominion HS Turf Stadium: Bleachers are CLOSED. Spectators will remain behind the fence and maintain 10ft physical distance with non-family members.
  6. Seneca Ridge MS Field: Spectators cannot be on the team sideline, must be 20 yards away from all other field boundaries, and maintain 10ft physical distance with non-family members.

 

GUIDELINES FOR COACHES:

  1. Stay home if you are sick!
  2. Must bring and wear a mask whenever 10 ft of social distancing is not possible. Masks must cover the nose and mouth.
  3. No high fives, hugs, fistbumps, etc.
  4. Remind and guide players to maintain social distancing

 

GUIDELINES FOR OFFICIALS:

  1. Stay home if you are sick!
  2. Mask Requirements: Masks are required when entering/exiting the field, during pre-game meetings with teams, and whenever 10ft of social distance cannot be maintained. Masks must cover the nose and mouth.
