G56 Season Wrap & Uniform Return Instructions
by posted 06/18/2022

Hey Tribe-

Hope your summer is off to a great start. First, a quick note on uniforms…

The attached picture best outlines the actions but in summary:

KEEP: The newest orange/white lightweight pinnie and all blue skirt. (a couple players did not receive - please email me so we can note and get you for no cost next season)

RETURN: Gray/orange game uniform and blue skirt w/ orange hem.

RETURN: Orange/white heavier reversible pinnie (some may already have returned; I’ve marked those numbers /players down)

HOW: Please wash items to return and place in a plastic bag with your daughter’s first name and last initial on it. You can drop off to a bin on my porch at 20623 Langford Court (dog barks loud but is super friendly).

Now for a quick season end note…

I hope you and your daughter had a great season of Tribe lacrosse. For the newer players, I really hope they now have a foundational lax skillset and fell in love with lacrosse and continue with the sport. And for the more seasoned players, I hope they honed their game and learned some new things and fell in love with the game all over again.

This was a special team that gelled really well with little to no drama. Just a great group of kids and parents that made the season really easy and fun for us coaches. I want to thank each and every one of you that helped make this a great experience for our girls. I particularly want to thank Coach Courtney Hasbrouck who was a great partner, super helpful coach and great role model for the girls. Special thank you to Mike Hobbs and Neil Commerce who stepped up to help us coach and manage practices. We couldn’t have done this without you all; thank you!!

For those that may not know, the Tollys are moving this summer about 30 mins south which is an exciting new chapter in our lives but bittersweet indeed as we absolutely love this community. So this was my last season coaching Tribe after many years and I couldn’t have asked for a better group to experience this amazing season with. It was incredibly rewarding to watch the growth and improvement from the first practice to the team hitting their stride later in the season. I really hope your daughter continues playing lacrosse and for those that do I very much look forward to watching them play in high school and beyond.

It was an absolute honor and pleasure to coach your daughter and this team. Thank you again for everything. I wish you all the best. Have a great summer. We’ll see you around.

G56 Game 3 - 3:55 PM Arrival in Chantilly
by posted 04/10/2022

Hey Tribe!

Thank you for RSVPing for the game today and for all those that maybe delayed the start of your spring break so we could field a team. We have enough to play and will be a lot of playing time for everyone. So set your DVR for the Masters Tournament and come on out and cheer on our girls.

Please plan to arrive by 3:55 for 4:00 PM warmups at Arrow Head Park Field #3 in Chantilly; about 30 mins away. Text me with any changes or heads up.

Double check all your gear, dress warmly in layers, bring water and lets wear the game jersey (gray/orange reversible) and skirt we wore in the first game. We’ll go ORANGE side out today.

Also, no practices this coming week but pack your lax stick and ball for spring break and actually use it every day. 😉 Let’s go out there and compete. Go Tribe!
